Agentic AI Is Moving Fast. Trust and Execution Will Decide Who Wins.

I just went deep into two things back to back.

First, I read the latest Data and AI Impact Report from SAS.

Together, they tell a very clear story about where AI is heading next and what is quietly holding most organizations back.

Part 1: What the SAS Research Reveals About Agentic AI

The SAS Data and AI Impact Report makes one thing obvious.

Agentic AI is no longer theoretical.

52% of organizations globally say they have already started using agentic AI.

Another 25% plan to significantly increase spending on trustworthy AI to support it.

This signals a shift from experimentation to real deployment. AI systems are no longer just assisting humans. They are starting to act, decide, and execute.

But the report also highlights a hard truth.

Progress is slower than expected, and not because of model quality.

What Is Actually Slowing Organizations Down

The study points to three major blockers:

• Non-optimized cloud data environments
49% of organizations say their cloud data setup is not ready for agentic AI. Data is fragmented, slow to access, or poorly structured.

• Weak data governance
44% struggle with governance. Without clear ownership, controls, and accountability, trust in AI systems breaks down quickly.

• Lack of skilled specialists
41% say talent gaps are holding them back. Building and operating agentic systems requires a different mindset and skill set.

These are not small issues. They directly affect whether AI can move from pilots to production.

Why Trust Has Become the Real Differentiator

One of the most important insights from the report is this.

AI adoption is no longer limited by ambition.
It is limited by trust.

As AI systems become more autonomous, organizations need confidence in how decisions are made, how data is used, and how outcomes can be explained. Trustworthy AI is no longer a compliance topic. It is a growth requirement.

The organizations investing early in governance, transparency, and data foundations are the ones seeing real returns from AI.

Part 2: From Research to Reality With Genspark

My conversation with Genspark showed how it is actually being built.

I recently hosted The Ravit Show with Wen Sang, Co-Founder & COO, Genspark and the numbers alone get attention.

A 30-person team.

Over a $1B valuation in six months.

But what really stood out was the product philosophy.

Execution Over Conversation

Genspark is not focused on being another AI chat tool.

They are building an all-in-one AI workspace where AI agents do the actual work.

Not suggestions.
Not drafts that need heavy cleanup.
But finished outputs.

Slides, spreadsheets, websites, designs, inbox workflows, and more, all produced by AI agents working together in one environment.

This is a direct response to a problem many teams face today.

Too many tools.
Too many tabs.
Too much manual coordination between AI outputs.

What We Discussed in the Interview

In the conversation, we broke down:

• Why Genspark moved beyond chat and focused on execution

• How a small team scaled so fast by designing AI agents as collaborators

• What real agent workflows look like in production environments

• Why the future of work is shifting from tools to AI teammates

The key insight was simple.

The next wave of productivity will not come from asking better questions.
It will come from reducing the gap between intent and outcome.

Why This Matters Now

Many organizations are trying to layer agentic AI on top of broken data foundations and fragmented workflows. That approach does not scale.

What Genspark is demonstrating aligns closely with what the SAS research highlights.

Agentic AI only works when trust, governance, data readiness, and execution come together.

This is not another AI chat story.
This is about how work actually gets done in the AI era.

Final Thought

The SAS report shows us the macro shift.
The Genspark conversation shows us the execution model.

Agentic AI is already here.
The winners will be the ones who invest in trust and design AI systems that actually deliver outcomes.
