Data engineering is changing fast, and the best way to stay ahead is to learn from those shaping the space. That’s exactly what’s happening at Beyond Analytics on September 16, hosted by Astronomer.

What excites me about this event is the mix of practical learning and forward-looking sessions. It all kicks off with one of the most hands-on workshops you’ll find:" to "It all kicks off with the Airflow 3 Certification Crash Course where you'll find:

• Learn Airflow 3 fundamentals with Data with Marc creator, Marc Lamberti

• Get your certification questions answered live

• Receive a $150 code toward the official Airflow 3 certification exam

And that’s just the start. After Marc’s session, the agenda dives into stories and solutions that reflect where data engineering is headed:

• Ramp’s journey from ETL to AI-driven automation

• Laurel’s orchestration of RAG pipelines for production-grade LLM workflows

And more!" As we have 3+ other sessions now posted :)

This isn’t theory — it’s what real teams are doing to push the boundaries of data and AI.

If you’re looking to sharpen your Airflow skills and see how others are reimagining modern data engineering, this event is worth your time.

Let’s do this! I speak to so many leaders and get so many insights into how the space is evolving!

“Data 3.0 in the Lakehouse era,” using this map as a guide. Data 3.0 is composable. Open formats anchor the system, metadata is the control plane, orchestration glues it together, and AI use cases shape choices.

“How to Build AI Agents from Scratch”

Everyone is talking about AI agents, but few know how to actually build one from scratch. I have been trying to do it since last 10-12 weeks. Many people see the buzz, but few understand the actual steps needed to go from idea to a fully functional agent. I put together this guide: “How to Build AI Agents from Scratch”, a simple framework anyone can follow. Let me know what you think?
