TiDB SCaiLE 2025 is where distributed SQL innovation meets the realities of GenAI infrastructure. Join data infrastructure and engineering leaders to explore strategies for building scalable systems, operationalizing AI workloads, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with modern databases. With options to attend in person in Silicon Valley (Oct. 7-8) or stream the Morning Keynotes virtually (Oct. 8), this is your chance to learn directly from the organizations shaping the future of scale.

🎤 Opening Keynotes (In-Person & Virtual)

This year’s keynotes feature perspectives from PingCAP, Atlassian, Microsoft, AWS, and Manus. You’ll hear how leaders are scaling data in the age of AI, building tenant isolation at enterprise scale, and unifying workloads with one data and AI control plane. Discover how Manus is redefining real-world AI agents, explore the future of agentic AI, and get an exclusive look at what’s next for TiDB in Beyond Scale: The Road Ahead for TiDB. Whether you join us on-site or tune in virtually, these sessions set the tone for the future of distributed data.

🔥 Fireside Chats

TiDB is powered by a thriving open-source community, and our Fireside Chats give you a front-row seat to their stories. Teams from Airbnb, Databricks, and Bolt will share why they contribute to TiDB and how it shapes their engineering culture. Leaders from Uber and Pinterest will discuss their evaluations of TiDB for enterprise workloads — including how they define success and balance business outcomes with technical adoption. Expect candid insights, practical lessons, and open conversation.

🛠️ Designing AI-Native Infrastructure

From Google Cloud to Workday, Dify.AI, Rengage, and Carnegie Mellon University, this track dives into what it takes to design infrastructure for AI-native systems. Learn the hard-earned lessons from building production-ready GenAI applications, see how new architectures support agentic apps, and discover how MCP powers AI-driven observability. Hear how teams scale data architecture for AI at production scale, power real-time autonomous marketing, and push forward automated database tuning.

🏢 Building Systems for Enterprise Scale

Companies like OpenAI, Chroma, Pinterest, Bolt, PingCAP, and LanceDB will walk through the architectures, design patterns, and engineering tradeoffs that allow them to run at massive scale. Discover how OpenAI scaled operational data to millions of QPS without sharding, explore the design of search systems for object storage, and learn why Pinterest adopted TiDB for ingestion at scale. You’ll also see how Bolt handles global mobility workloads in milliseconds, and why multimodal lakehouses are becoming critical to architecting AI at scale.

⚙️ Operationalizing Scaled Workloads

Scaling is one thing — running those systems reliably is another. Teams from Pinterest and PingCAP will share practical insights from the field. Sessions cover everything from scaling SaaS multi-tenancy to managing over a million tables in a cluster, to evolving observability with VictoriaMetrics, and operating TiDB in real-world production environments. Whether you’re running workloads at scale today or preparing for tomorrow’s demands, this track equips you with the playbook for operational excellence.
